On December 2, the seminar on the development trend of the building curtain wall and door and window industry under the background of "energy saving + carbon reduction" dual control, hosted by CABR Technology Co., Ltd. of China Academy of Building Research and supported by Xinliji Energy-saving Glass (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., ended successfully. This conference mainly focuses on how to achieve the dual-carbon goals of "carbon peaking" and "carbon neutrality" proposed by President Xi at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly in the building curtain wall and door and window industry. In order to achieve the "dual carbon" goal, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have also issued a series of relevant policies, such as "Opinions on Promoting the Green Construction and Development of Urban and Rural Areas" and "Action Plan for Carbon Peaking Before 2030". All mention how to achieve energy saving and carbon reduction in the construction field. The main idea is to vigorously develop energy-saving and low-carbon buildings and comprehensively promote green and low-carbon building materials.
At this conference, several experts all mentioned the full-text mandatory standard GB55015-2021 "General Code for Building Energy Conservation and Utilization of Renewable Energy" issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on September 8, 2021. With the release of this standard, it marks that China's housing and construction field has officially entered the era of "energy saving" and "carbon reduction" dual control!
The main points of this specification are:
1. The average energy saving rate of residential buildings in severe cold and cold regions should be 75%;
2. Except for severe cold and cold regions, the average energy saving rate of residential buildings in other climate zones should be 65%.
3. The energy saving rate of public buildings should be 72%;
4. The carbon emission intensity of newly-built residential buildings and public buildings should be reduced by an average of 40% on the basis of the energy-saving design standards implemented in 2016, and the carbon emission intensity should be reduced by an average of more than 7KgCO2/(m2·K).
Since the energy consumption through doors, windows and curtain walls accounts for half of the total energy consumption of the building, the thermal insulation performance of doors and windows is very important in building energy conservation. More than 75% of the area of doors, windows and curtain walls is glass. The quality of glass performance determines the quality of door and window performance. At present, the glass with the best thermal insulation performance is vacuum glass. The application of vacuum glass can realize the lightness and thinness of doors, windows and curtain walls, reduce material consumption, and then play an important role in realizing energy saving and carbon reduction in the whole process of building.
Mr. Zhai Tao, marketing director of Xinliji Company, made a report on "Vacuum Glass Helps the Construction Industry Achieve the 'Dual Carbon' Goal" at this conference.
